I think I'll try the n-bone (pearly white) too then, because Acorn can't have chicken either :( She loves to chew things, but her vet told us to not do any rawhide because she has pulled so many out of dog's stomachs in the past that she would never advise any dog to use it. I'm so nervous to give her anything besides her dog food because her stomach is so sensitive, she'll throw up practically anything that isn't her food! I do however bake her own treats, so at least I know what she is eating, and she does fine with that. |
Our breeder also use to give our little girl greenies before we adopted her, so I know she can tolerate them, I'm just iffy about what is actually in them. We've had our many trips to the vet with little Acorn, it makes me cautious to try new products. |
Be artful with nylabones. While they are tough, a tenacious chewer can break off a piece large enough to do damage. Just keep them supervised while chewing and examine the bone for loose pieces/cracks before giving it. |
