Our Vet said the same thing as above, if you just had major surgery you would be in pain for days, even up to 10 days. We were given a 10 day supply of her pain meds in a tube, it is a cream that you put on your (gloved finger) and then just swip it on the inside tip of the ear. It gets absorbed through the skin on the ear. Very easy to do and really helps her. She gets it morning and night, 12 hours apart each dose. I also got premie onsies at Walmart and then bought a blow up soft collar for her to wear at night being I can't keep a good eye on her while sleeping. |
