My furkids Donating Member | ![]() i posted on here last week asking about soft food...I was told to try weruva...they are getting it in but, in the meantime I thought I'd try evangers...although it is a new can and there fore warm...it is mushier than wellness 95% chicken! AND...it says to refrigerate for UP to 36 hours!! I only use canned as topper so 1 can usually lasts me a week...will I have to throw it away after a day and a half??? I do plan on trying the weruva as soon as it comes in...I think I will keep them on the wellness so I dont' mess with their little belly's

| ![]() No canned food should be refrigerated for more than three days. You can freeze it. Evangers was caught by the FDA for having a different protein source in the can than what is on the label.

| ![]() There was a big thing with the FDA and Evangers I think there is another thread about it somewhere I personally would never trust them if they messed up and lied about one thing I bet they do about others too.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I use the Weruva and it is more liquidy but my girls love it. I go through a can a day with the 3 girls. Mine didn't do well on Evangers.

| ![]() When I open a can of food, I put it in some Fresh Baby trays (bpa free ice cube trays) and freeze it. Each night at dinnertime, they get 2 cubes (I was doing one until recently, but trying to put weight on them now) and I just put them in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and mix them up to make sure they aren't hot and add kibble. A can lasts a long time! |
