| Raw food? So I was thinking of putting my puppy on a raw food diet. The nearest pet store for me is Pet Supplies Plus? Would they have it or is there a company I can order from? What brand would you reccomend? I would try to make it myself but I have a full time job and two kids so I have to be carefull not to take on too much. Thanks! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I like Primal, Nature's Variety, Stella and Chewys, Bravo. Mainly I use Primal Duck. If you go to one of the food websites, click on 'Store Locator' to see who sells it.

| How old is your puppy? Here's some good info on feeding raw to puppies: Starting Your Puppy On A Raw Diet | Dogs Naturally Magazine Premade raw that Ann mentioned above are all nutritionally balanced. I would like to add OC Raw Dog to that list, if you have it in your area, it's excellent!

The best way is to do a search in the company's website: Primal Pet Foods: Store Locator Where to Buy Find a store near you that sells it. Some stores do not carry the actual item, but they can order it for you, so you might want to call them 1st to find out.

| A question that I 4got to ask...is your breeder currently feeding raw? Bc changing a puppy's diet when they're very young can be very risky. They can get stressed which will give them coccidia or colitis. Just use caution when changing diets on them, it is recommended to feed what the breeder was feeding for at least a couple of months. GL on whatever you decide, but do a lot of research 1st!

| Darwin's delivers. I've used them in the past. They're great. I was very happy with them. I think that in terms of quality, they're one of -if not THE- best. Natural, Raw Dog Food, Grain-free Dog Food - from Darwin's Pet
