Article on Blue Buffalo complaints and other... |
Thanks for posting this! Perhaps the FDA will get involved with production and quality control and quality management, as well as companies that promote their food using key words and phrases that trigger the pet owners preferences, like "holistic" and "organic"..... |
Ugh not that I feed BB anymore used to over a year or two ago it seems home cooking is the only thing slightly safe. |
No, I refuse to believe that home cooking is the only safe way to feed our pups. |
Yes, I have read this before, quite scary... I have never been a fan of BB. Always hear of GI issues. It's also produced in like 5 or 6 different plants. Way over priced for what it is also. |

Ughhh...and Blue Buffalo is always getting super high ratings on the dog food rating sites!! It seems like there's something wrong every kind of commercial food. It's really frustrating. I wish I could feed my dogs home cooked food....but because of health issues, I can't do it. Sadly, because my dogs are used to the processed, bland commercial foods, human food is a total shock to their digestive system and it upsets my older males gall bladder and pancreas:( |

I believe some companies are much safer than others and both humans and dogs can live long lives on processed food. But I just don't believe a chicken/rice/veg diet dried out into kibble form then sat on a shelf for six months will ever be safer and heatlthier than a properly made homecooked diet. JMO. I'm lazy and prefer not to cook. E can't really have it anyway. i'd probably make her food still if given the choice. |

I was shocked when I read that Proctor and Gamble bought BB when I came back to the YT. I've been googling for a different dog food but i couldn't find anything I am comfortable with. I don't cook so I probably would make my dogs sick if I dare to cook for them! It is so frustrating. I kept hearing how great Orijen is but I am not too sure about the company. Don't ask why. Now this.. ugh, I need to take my dogs off from it ASAP. |
