theporkieyorkie | 08-09-2013 07:51 PM | Can I ask those who cook their food at home...how do you cook your meat?? $50/month doesn't seem bad to me at all. I am guessing that I spend about $100/month for my 2 boys with their canned food, dry food, and toppers.
Right now...I am afraid to change my dogs food around and they are on Wellness, which has Carrageenan in it. I tried to change their food recently and I think that might have triggered Princeton's last health "episode."
I did start my younger dog on PM Raw and he seems to be tolerating it fairly well...but I still mix it with the Wellness "Simple" and a topper.
In the mean time, I am going to call Wellness with my concerns about the carrageenen...but I'd love to be able to find a way to cook for them and have it so it doesn't upset their tummy's..
BTW~I am happy to hear that Hills is finally creating a Grain/corn free product. I checked out a bag of Ideal the other day but did not buy it. Hopefully they will start reformulating their prescription foods as well!! |
