How is the little one doing? First week was terrible for me with Callie. |
Aw little Blue is so sweet. I hope he is feeling better. |
Wishing a speedy recover for Blue. Takes me back to Hot Rod's surgery. :( Big hugs and kiss-es to Blue. Sending you a pm. |
3 Attachment(s) Hi! Thank you for the kind words for Blue!! To my surprise, he did extremely well. He did not need e collar except when he was crated. The stitches were removed today. The doctor said that the knee is healing nicely. When he had his left hip surgery, it was the most difficult and long recovery than his right hip surgery. Blue was really miserable with both surgeries but not the knee surgery. i was very pleased with how he is recovering. He still has the restriction on his activity (no jumping or running) for a month and then he needs to be seen by the vet. I will have to find a vet in NY. I asked what grade his luxating patella was and the doctor said it was grade 2. Every time I pick him up, I no longer feel the pop so I am very happy that he had the surgery even his bad knee did not bother him before the surgery. Lovetodream88, sorry to hear that Callie had a difficult week. Did she have better week on the 2nd week? Mom to Hot Rod, i was not looking forward to his surgery and recovery because of his bad experiences with his hips esp the left hip. I am just sooo grateful that this time, it is a good recovery. Here is Blue, thanking you for the kind words!!! Photo 1: First night after the surgery, he was uncomfortable but he had to go potty Photo 2: Few days later, becoming more comfortable. it is his favorite position of sleeping :D Photo 3: few days ago, feeling more better every day |
