♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() Riley gets prednisone I don't have to give it daily but when he is itching a lot I will give two days in a row. And sometimes just a little children's Benadryl will do the trick.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Marcel takes Atopica 3xweek and also gets allergy serum drops. The OTC meds for dogs are usually Benadryl (but have to give so often), Claritin, and Zyrtec. Chlortrimeton (sp?) is another one, but like Benadryl you have to give it 3-4x a day. The prescription meds are Atopica, Temaril-P, steroids, allergy therapy.

| ![]() Normally Callie's only really big problem is her skin breaking out and to avoid that I have been giving her an Omega 3 supplement because she normally gets at least one skin infection during allergy season but so far so good. When she does get itchy she is supposed to take a hydroxyzine luckily she has only had to take one this season. We also moved and the back yard has nothing but grass no tress no flowers nothing so maybe that has helped. I also wipe down her feat every night so she can't drag any pollen in to her crate.
