Great! From here on out you should be seeing steady improvement... In the morning you can start him back on his regular amount of food and full access to water. Any set backs... call your ER vet... but he should do fine. Hugs, Kathy

Ian is almost back to his old self. He is walking fine, eating great, eyes look normal, and his tail is up! Still a little groggy, but about 95% better!

I missed all of this last night, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to help. It must have been so scary. I'm so happy that Ian is feeling better now. Have fun when you go to the park.

Oh good! I'd go easy at the park... especially if he had any extractions (I read, just can't remember, lol) ... just like people, a lot of excitement/running could cause bleeding until his mouth is healed.

Good point! He didn't have any extractions, but I agree with you. We'll postpone the park outing.
