| Nutro Ultra Small Breed Puppy Any thoughts? One of my puppies were on Purina Puppy Chow from the breeder and the other was on Royal Canin from the breeder. I was expecting to get Royal Canin until I got to the store. My husband got talking to the sales lady and in the ended up purchasing Nutro Ultra Small Breed Puppy. I checked on dogfoodavisor.com and it had 4 stars and was "highly Recommended". What are your thoughts on this food? Is it a good brand? |

| 1,365 Complaints and Reviews about Nutro Pet Foods Look at that!! I would stay clear away from Nutro! I would take that bag back to the store and pick out something else!! You can get Royal Canin since he has been on that already.

| I agree, stay away from Nutro. I feed my boys Fromm, which is 12.99 - 14.99 for a 5 pound bag. There are good, affordable choices out there.

| While I agree that having a rating of 1365 reviews 82 percent being negative does make me rethink my choice of dog food. That site does not really give a good review for any dog food. Though, not every brand was listed. Where would I go to get a list of good choices or an accurate review of a new choice? IF you can't tell that consumers affair site has me really worried about the food I am feeding my puppies! Thanks again for everyones replies. |

| There are quite a few members whose Yorkies do really well on the RC. If it works for your pup, it is worth it. Tell your husband that you will probably save money at the vet by feeding a food that agrees with your pups.

| How many stars a food has on a website really means nothing. It is about the ingredients, the company and how your dog does on the food. I personally would never trust the nutro though.

| Yes!! It will also give you time to research other food companies- if that is something you want to do.
