What is everybody feeding their furbabies? I have an almost 3-year old female yorkie. She has been on Canine Caviar since shortly after bringing her home from the breeders. Started her with the puppy formula and then moved to the grain frees. Never had anything wrong with her whatsoever and her vet contributes it to the food and just really good genes, I guess. :D What is everybody else feeding their babies? |
Boccee ( my girl ) was sent home with puppychow. Bronco ( my boy ) was sent home with royal canine. I mixed the two because they were eating out of each others food anyway. I was planning on buying only the royal canine in the future. Any thoughts on this brand? |
Food Great!!! If it works don't fix it is my motto! Lucky you have a good eater. :-)) |
We feed mostly Horizon foods (Legacy and Amicus) and also Fromm foods. I rotate for some variety. |

bil jac....i was afriad it wasnt a high quality food ....but the by product is actually all organs and bones which from the research i did this is not a bad by product and my gang loves it. i tried changing them ova and it wasnt gonna happen. so far no recalls on this food knock on wood and they just love it. |
royal canin and some wellness wet food..(she wont drink water out of a bowl??) so I mix the wellness with water and pour it over her kibble..not a problem |
I feed my boys Innova, and they both absolutely love it. I also feed them Wellness Core cans for a treat every once in awhile. |
I switched mine from California Natural canned and Kibble to Weruva. My girls love it. It is expensive but worth it if it's better for them. |
I feed my boys Fromm grain free. So far, so good! |
Royal Canin all around!! |
CC Wilderness (Have also fed Open Sky) :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
I try a lot of different grain free foods with Callie but we always seem to go back to Blue Buffalo. Right now we are on the small breed freedom. |
chester is on the sundancer from solid gold, the grain free, has done very well on it |
Fromm for my crew! |
Luma has been on sooooo many.... Chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul taste of the wild fromm acana natures variety canine caviar. that seems like a LOT but I had to find the best food for my baby girl and turns out CC is perfect for her! I'm happy she is doing so well now. Our new puppy is on Wellness atm. |
I feed premade raw - mostly Primal brand; but also Natures Variety, Bravo, Stella and Chewys, Stewarts. I've been feeding raw for almost 6 yrs now, I think...? |
Bronco is around 7 months and I've been feeding him Wellness Core Puppy. He eats it just fine. The only thing I'm concerned with is he has what I would consider large stools so I'm guessing he just doesn't digest it very well? I want to find a brand that has good digestibility. I was thinking about switching him to Innova. Any recommendations for a dog food that has good digestibility? |
Oscar & Kaiah are eating RX Royal Canin Hypoallergenic. Angus is eating Earthborn Holistics.. |
I feed Primal Freeze-dried & Vital Essentials Nibblets. |
I'm feeding Berkley&Jensen Holistic All Natural New Zealand Lamb and Potato Recipe. Sometimes I even give a few kibbles of it to them as treats thats how much they both like it. One of the reasons I even tried this food out was because a salesperson was putting the food out on the shelves at BJ's. I asked if the food came in smaller bags (it's a 15lb bag) so I could try it out as my dog is very finicky. He told me it was BJ's policy that if my dog didn't like I could return it for a full refund because it was a Berkley and Jensen product. |
The person that my parents got my pup from was feeding him Simply Nourish for small breed puppies, it's supposedly a great brand though I've changed him over to Primal Premade Raw. If I were to feed him kibble it'd probably be one from Merricks or Castor & Pollux. |
We were feeding Canine Caviar, but Foxy lost interest..We are feeding Blue Buffalo now.. |
Galen is eating California Natural Lamb. A mix of puppy and the big size adult food lol |
FROMM kibble for my furbutts primarily. Occasionally THK, Grandma Lucy's etc. dehydrated food. |
Fromm for my 2. Feed the grain free. Doing great on it! |
My pup came to me on Royal Canine Yorkie pup formula. I switch him to Wellness Puppy small breed. I'm looking to switch him to something else, but haven't decided what yet. |

I have my dogs on SD small and toy breed adult formula, which by the way no longer has corn or by products in it. :) SD is the only food my dogs can tolerate and do well on. Ive tried super premuim brands to not o expensive brands and SD wins everytime. :) Adult Small & Toy Breed - Dry |
