So Galen went to the Vet today. He got the 3rd distemper shot. So he is sleeping on my lap. The shot knocked him out. My poor little Acorn.

He now weighs 5 lbs. 10 ozs. He gained 5 ozs. in 2 weeks.

I was like wow that is a lot. But I am happy he did. I was so worried that he was not eating enough. Big sigh of relief. So now I know he made a wonderful transition to our home.

I just wanted to share.

I was so happy he is still knocked for a loop. I keep waking him and making sure he moves around just to make sure he is ok. He looks at me like really mommy. . . . You bugging me again. Can't I sleep.

Ok, I'm so glad you posted this. I was beginning to worry that there was something with Princess Sophie. She has only gained just under 2 oz. in the last two weeks. LOL I know she's growing because she's getting taller, she can see and jump higher on the edges of the sofa and chairs. Her hind quarters are still really bony though. LOL

So happy that he's doing so very well. Congrats, I know you are just loving him to pieces. Good for you and great for your little Galen.

Happy to hear little Galen is adjusting to his home!! I thought I read somewhere you got him from a breeder in MN...did I remember right? Just curious....I am not looking anytime soon but the biewer has caught my eye and maybe...just maybe in the next couple years...

Yes I did. She is wonderful. I am so happy. He is doing great. My vet even said He is so sweet and friendly, he never saw a pup so sweet.
