I have been looking for a really good dog food as well. I used to do raw and it was great but since I started working at a hospital for very sick kids and take my dogs to work I felt it best to stop feeding raw. I did go on the reccomendations of Delta Society and did some research. Although I am not totally convienced that raw can contribute to passing on pathogens I was not willing to take the chance with my kiddos. Anyways I think I am going to look into CC and I am lucky cause they just opened a store down the street and they only sale CC.:D

Yeah it says puppies, but for large breed puppies. Wouldn't the composition for large and small breed type dogs differ? I'm just inquiring because the ocean and buffalo state for medium and small breeds.

Nope.

All that means is that small and medium breed PUPPIES need to start with something else whereas it is FINE for Large and Giant breed PUPPIES as an all life stages food.

It's unbelievably AWESOME for Medium and Small Breed DOGS though!!

My Yorkie is actually on cc lamb and millet for 3 weeks now and love it. I'm just wanting to try another cc flavor.

I really wanted the grain free however there was no small-medium breed kind at the time I was t the store.

ALL of the Grajn Free are FINE... actually EXCELLENT for small/medium breed DOGS. You are reading the bags incorrectly. If you need to verify this you can speak with a rep. At 1-800-392-7898 - They are extremely nice and helpful. They are on California time. [PST]

Is the free range buffalo kibble available yet or is it brand new? I can't seem to find it sold anywhere but I see it's listed on the website.

I was never impressed with this food until I sat down and actually read a bit about it and watched some of the videos and reviews on it. We ordered a bag of open sky and I'm hoping it will be here today. Next month I think I'm going to order some of the canned to add into a daily rotation. I had thought I read something on their site about a frozen food? But I couldn't find any details on it? Any word on them adding a frozen raw option?

Try Nature’s Pet Cuisine it’s in Brea. This is where I order my CC- They are super friendly! They can pre order you something if they don’t have it. Also I am in Riverside and they deliver Peanut’s CC for free!!

I live near the one in Brea. I have not had a chance to go there yet. What does a bag cost? Mine guys were on raw but now I am looking for a good alternative because they go to work with me and I work with medically fragile children and compromised immune systems and raw don't mix!

Lol Im not sure I think 16$ they have didnt prices for different flavors. Everything is listed on their website.

ok its been 1 month and WOW!!!! Allies tummy is almost all cleared up, I have pics but can't seem to post them. They were super nice and sent me a sample bag of each. i just ordered off chewys and the smallest they has was a 12 lb bag, holy moly it just came ans its going to take forever for her to eat this, i hope she doesn't become picky about it. I did buy as well some canned venision, its 12 regular size cans, i am stocked for a long while now. she still itches a little but not like before at ALL!! Any suggestions on websites that sell smaller size bags???

I bought a bag of the Synergy... Dehydrated Veggies and this week have been feeding Riley about 2 Teaspoons of canned Venison mixed with his CC Wilderness Kibble and about a Teaspoon of the Synergy. He has been LOVING it and is doing Awesome!!

Thanks Theresa! I saw this gigantic bag and was like oh my!!! My dog is only 8lbs!!!! and picky what if she gets tired of this!
Have you tried any of their braided buffalo jerky? wondering if they are like bully sticks, I haven't given Allie any beef or chicken in 2+ years.

Well here we are at day 25 now and I've quit adding the canned to every meal, no special reason, I just like to mix things up for them so they don't get bored and sometimes they just want a dry crunch :)

I'm still keeping an open mind...probably because so many foods have failed to work after the first bag in the past so I am a little gun shy...but my hopes are high for this one and we still have about a half of the bag to go.

Sooo...just let me say this...

For the first time in the 5 1/2 years that Miss Moo has walked the earth she is the closest to being a 'normal' dog that she has ever been...the changes we've seen are amazing and I know it will only get better from here! :)

I am grateful for the 'itchy-free' time she has had to this point and I am thankful to you girls for the recommendation!

I know that 12lb bag is Gigantic. I started with a 12lb bag of the Wild Ocean. I was afraid it was going to go Stale or something so I was giving it away. LOL I think I read that you can refrigerate it...

I haven't given Riley the braided buffalo jerky but I have given him the regular Flat buffalo jerky and I thought it was Great. I would definitely try the braided buffalo jerky. - I don't give him bully sticks anymore. He doesn't do well with them and gets sick... The only thing I give him to chew are the Himilayan Chews... but he did Fine with the regular flat CC buffalo jerky. There is a store near my hair salon that I sells CC. I am going to stop by there, today and see if they sell the braided buffalo.

Isn't it such a relief that Miss Moo isn't itchy... and I'm sure she is Loving that as well!! :)

Riley has not had 1 of the Spots he used to get since I made the switch August 2nd. It's funny, because I will always remember that day. LOL!! The True test will be come spring/summer... but he was walking through just as much Grass in August/September as he usually does, as well as Florida Grass for 2-weeks at Labor Day and not 1 Spot. Such a relief to flip him over and see a clean clear white Tummy!!!! AND, he has not had any issues whatsoever with his ears. I have had to take him into the vet at least 3-times with ear issues... He has been ear issue free for almost 7-months now. WOO HOO!!!!

I looked for them at a store this past weekend but they didn't carry them.

I'm trying to decide also...
Riley is about halfway through a bag of Wilderness... He did just as good on that formula as he did on the Open Sky and the Wild Ocean. I want to try the Buffalo when it is released. I found a store that sells all flavors in 1lb bags but when I went in 2-weeks ago they were Sold Out! I can email them and have them order whatever I need. I was thinking of buying one of each of the b bags and switching it up every few days just to give some variety. :thumbup:

I have also been adding a teeny bit if synergy dehydrated mix to his kibble and he Looooves It!!

The Synergy sounds wonderful!
I got the Stix at AmazonStix at Amazon .
The boys LOVE them!!!! More than Bullys even. Expensive but worth it. They smell stinky like Bully's though!

Are the sizes different by flavor?
If so, which is small?
The Open Sky is ok for my boys but if it gets bigger it would be too big.

I got the Synergy at Whole Pet Central in Herndon. They had One bag left... they were going on about how GREAT they think CC is!! :) We were chatting about it and some lady with a bull terrier said she was going to try it. :thumbup:

Not sure where in Maryland you are, but they have a store i Rockville....!! ?

I'm about 20 min away from Rockville. I've been to that store. It is small. I'll call them and see if they stock it. If not, like when I was feeding Fromm, they will bring it over from other store or order it for you. :thumbup:

Ohhh Yeah! I am sure they can Totally Order whatever you want/need!!
They had all the formulas in all the sizes at the one in Herndon... even the 1lb bags!! :thumbup: :)

The size is more round than the Open Sky was.

Dry Food Problem
 
I tried the Canine Cavier Puppy today and our Tucker, 4 mo. old) will not touch it. He will not touch and dry food and this was my last one to try!:confused:
