LOL..they have all kinds of cute things to do with the furbabies...even have a mingle night but we are a little over an hours away so it makes it hard on a work night but the weekend events are fun :D

Thanks so much for this thread! My sister's golden has all sorts of allergies- I've forwarded her the link to the 28 pg CC info, as well as the testimonials on their site. I hope this helps her!

I remember when RileyDC first started with CC. Everytime I see a thread about Canine Caviar, I imagine little Riley shrieking & doing a little Yorkie dance at mealtime! :p My pups don't have allergies. But I orderd a bag of the GF Puppy Chicken from chewy.com last night. It was the only site I could find that offered the 4.4lb bag. We're almost out of our Earthborn Holistic Primitive Natural. So we'll see how it goes with the CC. ;)

My bff down in Richmond feeds the GF Puppy Chicken to her Pomeranian and she keeps thanking me up and down for the suggestion.

Of course, every dog is different. I am just posting the great luck I myself have had with it.

So, this is day 2 and I have already noticed...besides the obvious fact that they seem to love this food...but they have no bad breath! I gave them some of the dry with a small scoop of the canned on the side and still...no bad breath!

I'm likin' this food so far :D but I will remain objective until we've used it...their health will tell the tale.

I think I'll call the company and see if I can bake the canned food into treats like I used to do for Boog.

Now I'm totally wanting to try Canine Caviar!! Coby is finishing up his bag of FROMM Pork and Applesauce, which he likes, but he's still really itchy.
I am almost convinced that it has to be environmental allergies, and not food bothering him...:cool:

Ry has No Bad Breath, and No Eye Goop!!!!

I was the same way... remaining objective.
I was Amazed at how after only 7-days his Tummy was so
much more Clear. I still wanted to give it a FULL 3-month trial.

Hope they do as well as Ry with it!!

After looking through my old Droid for the pictures of Peanut’s tummy- I couldn’t find them. I must have deleted them! Darn it- I was able to find one picture- On the first picture you can see he is still a little red, and dry flaky skin. The second picture I just took a couple days ago! You can see a difference, and it is because of CC!

That's a pretty Big difference!!
He's definitely Much More PINK and Dry in the first one!! :(
He's all better, now!! :)

This is one of the things I love most about this food. We feed the Open Sky and the boys breath has a sweet minty herb kind of smell now. Love it.
We are 2/3 of the way through the first 12 lb bag. It takes a long time to get thought 12 lbs when the boys eat 1/2C a day or less when I add soft food to it. :) But so far the foot biting has stopped and the big eye goobers are gone (just a little watery staining left). That might leave IF I did not give them bully sticks. They always look forward to eating. Especially Picky Mickey!

I have been trying so hard to find a distributer here but no joy. I think I will ask my aunt in Florida to send me some. Then if it works with Alfie, I will just have to holiday in the US every year to bring it back. My aunt recently lost her wee yorkie Huey though.

I think I'm going to call CC and see if I can get a sample, as well as find out if anywhere near me sells their products. Bailey is 12 and has some age-related hair loss, but also some skin issues that seem to be caused by allergies. I've only had her for 12 days now, but I'm pretty sure that she needs a better food. The before and after photos are really amazing!

Day 15 and this is what I have noticed so far:

1. Moo is not scratching very much at all.
2. Her ears smell like 'normal' ears and she is not sensitive to the touch.
3. Their coats are noticeably softer than before.
4. Breath is a little fresher but not totally 'odor-free' since we do use some canned.
5. No more 'Frito feet'.
6. Stools are small, firm and non-offensive ;)

They don't eat much at one meal but they do seem to stay full longer with the recommended kibble and canned amounts versus the recommended raw amounts only.

They have taken easily to this food with no stomach upsets or potty issues and I made the switch all at once. However, they were on a grain free kibble and raw food before the switch so being used to that may have helped with their transition.

So far, so good but I will continue to keep an open mind...at least until we've used a couple of bags. I plan to take the ingredient label into my Holistic vet on their next visit to see what she thinks.

This is how I am...!! Only because there was other food I had tried that I thought he was doing so well on only to find after a couple of months or bags, it was a No Go!! That is also why I like to try Ry on a food for at least a full 3 months, which is what my Vet said is a good amount of time to get a true reading on how good or not so good a food is for a pup.
Riley did Great on the Wild Ocean and the Open Sky for 3 months each. Now we are on a bag of Wilderness... I will do a full 3 month trial on that one, as well. After that, hopefully the Buffalo will be out and we can try that one for 3 months.
After all of that, I will buy a couple of bags and rotate every couple or few days... I know I would hate to have to eat the same thing every day.

I am so happy for you, girl :)! I know how you've been struggling with some food issues for some time now...and I truly hope this works for you.

Don't you *love* the small, non smelly poos? Wait, who loves poop? What I meant was...isn't it awesome that poos from raw food don't smell and are super little? (I feed raw frozen, and the poos are like this as well)

BUT, DON'T WE WANT THE FRITO FEET???? None of my 3 have ever had Frito Feet, so I'm always covetous of those w/ Frito Feet. I guess if you missed the smell, you could always rub their paws around in some corn chips :D.

Thank you Ann! :) Yes, we have had our food issues to the point of total frustration and my husband not even wanting to go into the pet supply stores with me! I'm just happy for Moo and I really hope this food continues to work for her.

Yes and yes to the other comments but only a true dog lover understands the 'love of poo'! :lol tears

I do kind of miss the frito feet smell but knowing that she is feeling better makes it worth the trade...and...I guess if I really miss it I can just be weird and ask to smell the feet of any Yorkies I see in public! LOL!

I'm just wondering because the cc website states wilderness and open sky to be for large breed dogs. Are there 'side effects' for feeding a small dog large breed food?

Where does the website say that?

I see where both formulas state:
"perfect for large and giant breed PUPPIES"
Meaning it is an "all life stages" food for them.
