I think it is all good information. Interestingly I checked my bag of Wild Ocean and it had 1.0% phosphorus...!? CC addresses the calcium/phosphorus ratios in their FAQ on their website. I'm going to call their 1.800 number and speak with someone directly about their products instead of trying to analyze and assume anything.

| This is a pro Canine Caviar thread- If for some reason you have issues with it maybe you should bring that up in your own thread or call them and talk to them about it- Brit- you aren't even feeding CC, I don’t understand why you are so concerned with it..? It has helped both Riley and Peanut tremendously, we obviously are Pro CC-Theresa and I feel so strongly about CC because how much it has changed our Babies health. I’m sure Theresa and I will recommend CC until we turn blue in the face, it has helped our babies so hopefully it can help others- Peanut was a miserable mess before I started him on CC. Now it’s a different story- his skin looks amazing, he loves the food, I don’t have to give him a Benadryl daily, no more hot spots, no more paw licking- I hope and pray the people that do try it have stories like myself and Theresa- In the end that’s all we are looking for. I’m not trying to be a rude to you, I just feel you are talking down about CC and trying to be a Debbie the Downer-

| Lol okay..... Didn't know YT had a rule that you could only discuss good things about a food. I'm also not being un-pro Canine Caviar, if that even a word. I said I was even considering feeding it again!! (The open sky or venison formula) I think two formulas of CC are very concerning for a dogs long term kidney health. If this was any other food, you wouldn't care that I was saying these things. A lot of people make threads about feeding Royal Canin, or Eukanuba, or whatever, and there will be people that come in and say "Well it's had this, and that, so I'd be worried feeding it" or Purina and giving a warning that they've had issues with treats etc. That's what happens in food threads. It's like you guys are getting defensive about me saying there's a few worrisome things to me about 2 formulas- I am VERY glad you guys found your miracle food. And have stated that before. I LIKE CC!! Lol. And have always promoted the brand!

You have made you point endlessly in this thread- We get it. I honestly don’t care what you say about CC, it’s not about that- You have your opinion, I have mine along with results.

I just find it interesting that you come to any CC thread and throw out your negative opinions about it. Maybe you have not feed it long enough to appreciate any of the positives. I don't see one thing positive about it from you in this Thread. You say it is "Pricey". Well, I am really sorry if your store decides to tack on about $6.00 + above the price to make their own Profit. I can get it around me at a Very Reasonable Price... so that was kind of shot down.... So then you turn to the calcium/phosphorus.... I get you would be Nervous feeding two of the formulas. As you stated the MAXIMUM phosphorous allowed according to AAFCO is 1.6%. Only one formula is above that and that is the Wild Ocean, at 1.7%. You are usually pretty good with foods and I usually agree with what you say, but I also honestly don't care what you have to say about CC.. I have the results of the past 6-months. I agree you made your point over and over in this Thread and I agree that if you have perhaps you should bring these issues up and start a new Thread.

| Brit was just pointing out her concerns & knowledge of phosphorus levels in the kibble/ dog food. I just recently learned about ash/calcium/phosphorus levels from the vet that treated Momo who has struvite crystals. High ash foods will cause struvite crystals. I myself will not feed my dogs any fish formula, I personally do not like the high sodium content & my suspicions of where & how the fish is treated b4 going to the pet food plant. As for carrageenan, if undegraded is used, great! But it's of no nutritional value. If it's degraded, it will cause inflammation, digestive upset & it has been linked to cancer. Yes, I can call, but if I choose to email bc it's easier for me to comprehend, why won't they reply & why do they bother having a contact page at all. I will continue feeding Canine Caviar to my dogs because they're doing great on it, but every dog is different. Just because our dogs are doing great on it, it doesn't mean everyone should be jumping the band wagon. They need to pay attention to the ingredients, guaranteed analysis, pick the food because it will benefit their dog. Theresa & Deanna, why not pay attention to the important info being given, out of pure concern & not see it as something negative.

| I'm sorry if my post caused you any confusion...I didn't see the formula you purchased on the Canine Caviar site. It looks like you got the right food for your little one. Congrats, when do you get her? It must be so exciting!
