| I don't mind a recall so much - it's the way it's handled. And I have never liked the way Diamond has handled this kind of stuff. I trust Fromm completely - but unfortunately my dog doesn't do well on most of their formulas. Lotus is trustworthy IMO. Canine Caviar is great and I want to try them soon.

| I ordered my first bag of FROMM from MR. Chewy website....on a Saturday and it was at my house that Tuesday. Well that Sunday I found a little boutique near me that sells it and that's how I ended up with two bags... they are going to take me forever to finish them. I was doing Primal morning and kibble at night, or the kibble whenever I would forget to put some in the fridge to thaw for the next meal...... but he does so well on the Primal, I just started doing it morning and night. I bought a square glass container with a glass lid which is perfect. It fits 2 days worth of nuggets. |

| Does lotus, honest kitchen and canine caviar have a grain free formula? Also, does this affect the TOTW cat food? Thanks! Last edited by Sheldonsmom; 05-05-2012 at 03:18 AM. |

| I just bought a new bag of TOTW. It is not on the list but I am not going to feed it. I have a hard time finding some of the brands you all mention in my area. ![]() The main one carried is Diamond it seems. The scores around me do carry Blue Buffalo and Innova. Any recalls on these?

I love Lotus, too, and I love the fact that they made their own cannery when none of the canneries they toured were satisfactory to them. So their canned food is also produced in-house, which is very rare (so many are made at Menu Foods). Their kibble is baked, so it's a bit different texture. THK is also a very reputable company, IMO, but unfortunately, the consistency of the food is too weird for me. Jackson did not like it at all - he was like, what IS this? lol...

| I really like S&C as a company, personally, I also like that they use Hydrostatic High Pressure (HHP) on their raw food. But a lot of the formulas seem too high in fat, so I won't feed them (when the raw is converted to dry matter basis).
