| Himalayian Chews Gizmo can't have bully sticks anymore, and I'm really not comfortable with antlers since they seem really hard to me, but I know the little monster wants something to chew on. Has anyone had any luck with these? I know they're a form of dairy, and I plan on preventing bacteria build up by washing the ends off with hot water before I give it to Gizmo. But I was just wondering how your pups like them. I've tried giving Gizmo a kong with frozen sweet potato, but he just doesn't seem interested, so this is my next venture. Any thoughts?

| Jackson hates sweet potato - have you tried other things in the Kong, like plain frozen yogurt, or Gizmo's canned wet food? Jackson is okay w/ the Himalayans. He kind of likes them but tires quickly of them, definitely prefers bully's. But I don't think they smell terrible or anything, and they Definitely last longer than a bully stick! And they are not as hard as Antlerz IMO.

| Yeah, he just doesn't like the kong. I think it frustrates him. We have sweet potato fries that he loves, but those go so quickly. Trying to put my thinking cap on with what else he could have.

| We love the Himalayan chews! They last a very long time. They never get soggy or anything either. They have a smoky scent to them. Very tolerable for me. Give them a try!

| Vienna Sausage inside a Kong toy works super! Keeps them busy for ever! I also put them in those multi colored rubber ball like thing....the ones that look like they have round colored bands of rubber weaving in and out, in a ball shape....NOBADY is going to have the slightest idea what in the world I am trying to describe!!!! and I can not for the life of me think of the name!.but you can slide vienna sausage inbetween those bands and they fall around inside the ball thingie, and the babies see and of course smell them in there and they work forever tryig to get to them..... |

| I bought one for Callie and it seemed as hard as the antlers so I was glad when she didn't seem to like it because I was so scared it would break her teeth.

| Peanut did not like the Himalayan chews!! He loves his bully sticks- he isn't much of a "chewer" , but when he is in the mood he wants bully sticks, or Texas Toothpicks!! Have you tried those?

| ZoE likes Himalayan chews. The small is too small in my opinion and they don't get to chew long before it has to be taken away for choking hazard, so I'd recommend you get the medium size. Oh, and they last alot longer than a bully stick.

| I have tried something called a knee bone and something called a prime strip. Lexi loves them. She just knaws and knaws on them. The don't smell too bad either. I got them from a holistic pet store. They are sold by the bully sticks. I have tried the Himilayan chews, antlers, and all different kinds of things. She doesn't stay interested for too long. Can't find the Texas toothpicks. Where does eveyone get them? She loves the bullies, but we can't stand the smell. |

| Cali likes both - probably the bully the best, but the Himalayas last forever and are not messy.

| Tessa has *yet* to try them. We have so many treats for her & Daisy right now. I'm sure she will love it as I'm not too fond of the smell from bully sticks. |

| My two like the himalayan chews and they love bully sticks, but Jada tends to get her facial hair mixed in with the bully stick and chews the ends of her hair. It makes a gummy, sticky mess. There favorite right now is Texas Toothpics by Merricks. I get mine from amazon...http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...ot%2Caps%2C247 and anytime you order from amazon please use the link on the home page of YHR. Amazon donates to YHR anytime you order when using this link Yorkie Haven Rescue

| Riley Loves the Himilayan Chews!! He does seem to tires of them after a little while...... but when he wants something to chew he will grab one and be occupied for a while. I throw them out once they seem to be getting a little too small so that he doesn't choke on them. He also loves bully sticks and texas toothpicks. I get the bully sticks that don't smell, but I don't like how yucky and sticky they get. Especially when he likes to get up on the couch and chew them on my leg!! yuck!! Be careful of the texas toothpicks because they have a small bone at the end of them. Riley usually gets to that point and doesn't really mess with it so I usually find it and throw it out. |

| The boys love the Himilayan Chews! I also feed them Sam's Yams (dehydrated yams). Bully's are their favorite though.
