Came in to see if there was an update. Praying all is going well in surgery and for Tena and Pat.

Oh, Tena texted me and I did not know it. It was at 1:20 which I assume was my time...so that would be 12:20 EST and Zhoie was going in for surgery at that time.

So, she has been in for about an hour now...

Tena also texted me at 2:44 PM EST saying that Zhoie went back at 2:15 EST. So we are 1 hour and 15 minutes into surgery now.

That's backwards. You are an hour earlier. So it's 3:30 PM here now.

Oh DUH...I had it backwards. They are an hour later there.

Thank you for the updates (even though the times are crazy). I think we are all sitting here on pins and needles waiting for an update on Zhoie's successful surgery. I can't even imagine how hard this is for Tena and Pat.

Nor can I. And it is going to be a loooong day for them. They will not hear anything as long as things are going well for at least 5 hours.

If you say hearing nothing is good then I don't need an update! This all just came so suddenly....

It's so hard when a well loved member of YT has to go through this.

I just ran back over to motel...I'm like 3 mins away. I told Pat, I have to go walk out of here for a few minutes, I was coming unglued...he knew I need to take a few minutes.

She went in at 2:15, didn't expect a call (no news is good news) so at 3:00 when my phone rang with their #, I lost it!!! Thank the good Lord...doctor sent the student out that scubbed in to call and let us know she was under and doing well with it. I sobbed out of control.

Wanted to let everyone know...hold onto our girl! Pat and I are overwhelmed at the love and support you all have given us.

Took a breather, but going back...I have to be close.

That was very nice the surgeon updated you on how the surgery is progressing. I will continue to keep Zhoie in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there Tena.
