Protein seems a little high for Uni but if I cut it with the HK I hope it will be fine. That's for finding that info for me.

I was ordering from Amazon until I went to the company website to see who the retailers are near me. Come to find out there is a Doggy bed and breakfast about 5 miles from work that is one of their suppliers.

No problem, I know what it is like to find a food that agrees with allergies and tummy issues. It is the pits:(

I get mine from my brother but I *have* seen it in specialty mean shops here too.

Or you can get a venison and sweet potato kibble.


Oh, Beef suet is just beef fat because the venison is very lean and tends to dry out without it added in.

Ooohhh! I know what it is now! It's that webby fat stuff they use on Iron Chef all the time. I didn't know it was spelled like that.

Come to think of it, there is a new fancy butcher shop that just opened in the next city. I hear they are expensive though. =/

I think I'm going to give this a try for Zhoie, where do you get it? I was just reading about it on a Dr. vet website the other day.

Tena I get mine from a little Bed and Breakfast for dogs, they are the only place locally that carries it. I ordered from Amazon before I found out they sold it. Here is a link to find out if anyone in your area sells it.Natural Balance Store Locator

Thanks Michele, the specialty store-Bentley's only about 1 mile from me where I buy her TOTW carries it. I'm going to go tomorrow at lunch and see what they have.

Good luck with your food allergy dilemma! Could you rotate with turkey or would that be to similar to chicken?

That's what I was wondering. Is turkey different enough from chicken? What is it exactly that dogs are allergic to within the chicken?

I have wondered that too...but I am to "chicken" to try turkey as severe as Jada's reactions to the chicken are.

20% protein is actually really low... like some of the lowest you will find on dry kibbles. Just as an FYI. :) I think legally a food cannot go lower than, like, 16%. But someone correct me if I am wrong on this. But yeah I have never seen a food lower than 18% protein.
