Does anyone find that reverse sneezing is worse during the summer months? My little guy seems to be doing it a lot lately. The only thing I can think of is that it's the humid weather we have been getting in NYC?

my papillion does it and it does seem to be more during the summer especially after she has been out in the yard when the cottonwoods let go of their cotton

Jada does it more in the spring and summer when her allergies are worse. Talk to your vet, I took Jada in and our vet did say it was allergies.

Louie also does it more in the spring and summer, when it is humid outside and early mmorning.

I'm glad to hear it's not just my little guy. His vet said that he definitely wants to see him for the reverse sneezing and he may not give him his booster for bordetella that he is due for.....

How worried should I be for this appointment? I'm somewhat freaked out. His appointment is in two weeks.... Do I need to change it to make it sooner?

If he is doing it a lot, you could move it up. But reverse sneezing to my knowledge is not dangerous. It sounds so scary when they are doing it and I won't lie, it freaks me out ever time Jada does it. Even knowing what it is, I seem to always panic and think she is choking or something.

Anyone knows what's the treatment for this?? i never had a problem like this before, but Melody (8 months old) has allergies and now EVERY night without exception she will have an episode of reverse sneezing, scares the #### out of me! i googled the information and i taking her to the ver tomorrow morning, but if anyone knows some tips of pointers i would really appreciate it, i want to be able to discuss different things w the vet! thanks!
