ok thank you |
I just checked online to see about my Shark mop. It says the water goes to 220 degrees. So I shouldn't have to replace my mop then. I also have a handheld Shark I will check to see water temp on that as well. Wow this house will be really clean. lol |
The vet meds should do the trick...a good cleaning also. Since your puppy was not sick, it was only shedding the parasites in the stool..under stess it can flair up into a full blown illness...but it sounds like your vet caught it...if when you go the puppy and the health record from the breeders vet showed a negative stool...and when you took the puppy to your vet for its first well puppy check after purchase and the stool was negative...then I would be concerned the problem was from you environment...but I bet your puppy came with the parasites... |
Giardia cysts only shed from the dog's intestines once every 3-4 days... so yes a sample could read negative. When rechecking... collect one sample each day for 3 consecutive days to verify clearance. Giardia canis in Dogs Coccidia: Coccidia (Coccidiosis) in Dogs: A Cause of Diarrhea |
Thank you, I do not know how long the vet will wait to recheck her but that is really good to know. I will collect from 3 days |
