Jackson won't chew much of anything (Nylabones, rawhides, dental chews, etc) even the Himlayans are just... ehhh so-so with him. He could take 'em or leave 'em. But bully sticks, it's been, well, over 2 years and he has never gotten tired of them! :p | I was surprised too that my boys didn't care for bully sticks. I think they were accustomed to the ease of chewing Merrick Wishbones, which are much softer than bully sticks, but they are so messy. Max ended up chewing a good chunk of his mustache off with one last year, and another time I found him with a long stringy piece down his throat.
The boys' favorite treat is a Texas Toothpick, but they eat them so fast and they have too much protein/fat to give very often. Teddy was sick from one this past Sunday. I will be limiting how much he eats in one sitting in the future.
They both love their Himalayans. |
