Must ask... What are you all feeding these days? Can't seem to get Mickey interested in any foods these days. He'll eat a bit but then snubs his nose. It is driving me crazy:p |
I feed Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison which is a LID diet. My guys can't tolerate grains and my girl Jada is allergic to chicken. They love it and are doing great on it. |
Mine have been eating Nature's Variety Prairie Lamb canned and dry for about a month now, they seem to like it and are doing well on it. Im not changing foods agian so unless the company has a major recall or my dogs cant tolerate it anymore I will add stuff to it to keep them eating it!! :) |
At the moment mine are eating GO! Chicken and loving it and doing really great on it. |
Well, at the moment... Stella & Chewy's raw patties (about 3-4x a week for breakfast). Orijen Regional Red kibble (I leave this out 24/7 for him to nibble if he wants to). Go! Endurance kibble mixed with a wet food for dinner. Flavor-wise, Orijen is by far his favorite. It's the only kibble he will voluntarily eat without being mixed with anything else. But the price increased a LOT recently and he recently got some runny poop while solely eating it, however it did go away. And like today, he ate the whole 1/2 cup of Orijen in his bowl dry around 3pm so I probably won't give him a big dinner, maybe just a spoonful of wet food. Sometimes he only touches a little bit of it throughout the day. Thinking we will be trying Natural Balance next. He's eaten a rotation of Go! Endurance, Orijen RR and Acana Grasslands for the past year and done well on all of them. |
Wellness Super Five Small Breed with Royal Coat Express and Solid Gold Seameal mixed in. |
Instinct Chicken dry and can food. Rosie loves it! :) |
Pinnacle Duck and Potato kibble with a spoonful of Natural Balance Duck and Potato to start the day. He's been on this combo for years and seems happy. |
Primal raw in the morning for breakfast and Acana kibble in the evening for dinner. |
Trixie just switched to Wellness Super 5 Small Breed....she was eating Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier but lost interest. |
Orijen adult mixed with Orijen all-fish formula. He had a bit of dry skin and this cured him. |
I mix mine. She's eating Natural Balance Ultra Premium Small Bites Chicken & Veggies and Fromm's a la veg. She loves them. |
Nature's Variety or Primal raw [I got samples of both, but I think I will feed the Primal when the samples have all been eaten] for breakfast and Acana kibble for dinner. |
Taste Of The Wild. I give them the Sierra Mountain Canine Formula. Only one pet store down here where I live carries it, and they can't keep it on the shelf. Excellent food. Great source of protein and highly digestible. I am giving this to a 6 month old mind you, and he LOVES it! Better yet, I don't have to change foods when he gets older. Taste Of The Wild rocks. |

I feed all of mine Solid Gold Just a Wee Bite. They all like it and seem to do very well. Eye boogers are down to a minimum and Ben lost his excess weight. They stil have the tiny, compact poops that are easy to dispose of (low residue). I like it being an all life stage food. That way I can free feed all of mine the same food. Big plus is it is available locally! That is not a small thing where I live. I was ordering online and that really adds up with shipping charges. This way, I can swing in and pick up what I need -- even if I wait til the last minute. No panic. Solid Gold has no corn, wheat, or by products. I am happy with it and more importantly, so are my pups. |
All three of mine eat Solid Gold Wee Bites. We started eating this when my youngest was a puppy and they all seem to like it. I also mix in the canned Solid Gold food sometimes also. Of course they do get boiled chicken and vegetables at times too. And they love their fresh fruits and veggies for snacks. |
I'm still feeding Life's Abundance |
Blue Buffalo Limited Ingredient Turkey and Potato |
I was feeding Kelsey Royal Canin yorkshire terrier puppy food, and her poop was great, solid and once a day. Now I've switched her to taste of the wild and she is pooping four to five times a day. I'm thinking of switching her back but to the adult yorkie formula. |
I'm feeding Lexie Orijen Regional Red, she likes it more than the puppy formula and it's an all life stages food. For dinner I mix in either Wellness 95% canned or Evangers canned. |
We are currently on TOTW Bison and Venison formula. I really like the ingredients. It is an excellent food for the price. I am interested in trying the Pacific Stream formula just to change up the flavor a bit, but I was wondering would the salmon cause a "fishy" smell? Anyone had any problems with that? Would love to hear your input. ;) |
Tucker eats Wellness, the grainfree formula, he loves it. |
We feed The Honest Kitchen and some raw. |
Mine are on Blue Buffalo weight control. I mix in a little fat free cottage cheese or yogurt. |

I gave them half a chicken bone (raw) last week and they seemed constipated right after. On Monday I gave them about an inch of raw steak. They seemed fine until Wedsday :( How do you rotate their food? I\'d like to give them the raw patties, but I\'m scared. How do you do it? |
Ziva eats TOTW salmon formula by default, her wheaten sister Lucy eats it and is doing sooo well that I switched Ziva on to it. Fish smell is not a problem, eye gloop is gone and she is SHINY! I think the digestive enzymes and probiotics are helping Lucy, she doesn\'t smell- no random loose stool, lots more energy. |
Diallo has been on a RAW meat diet ever since we got him at 3 months old. Actually we did not switch him to complete raw until he was about 6 months old. Diallo will be 7 years old on April 11th. And he is heathy as an ox. IMO, there is no diet that comes close to a raw diet that is "DONE CORRECTLY". |
Stella & Chewies freeze dried raw |
Primal pre-made raw...I rotate proteins, after each bag... |
