| my baby tried raw :D my 14 week old baby tried nature's variety raw yesterday successful , but .. he didn't finish it . i gave him five chicken flavoured medallions for the morning and night . it seems as though it bothers him when his face is a mess because he always run to his room (crate) to wipe his face all over his blanket . it was such a waste i just changed it cold turkey and his poo was black .. and very soft . i wanted to get away from the kibbles as soon as possible ! |

| Thats great that he liked it. my baby hated it. 5 may have just been too much... try giving him 2 for breakfast tomorrow so he eats them both...then 2 or 3 for dinner so you could figure out how much he wantsto eat. you cant always go by the feeding guide... Chewy eats less than 3/4 of her suggested serving andmy vet said that wasok for her. |

| How much does your little one weigh? 5 seems like a lot for one so young. Myah eats 1 1/2 in the morning and 1 1/2 in the evening, and a snack at night. That is all I can get her to eat...she does nibble on NV kibble throughout the day, just a piece here and there. she is just 3 lbs. now at 7 months old. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Whoa there, FIVE! Hold up there, nelly! My Wylie (7.5 lbs) gets 2 per meal; my Marcel (3.4 lbs) gets 1 - 1 1/3 per meal. So, how much does your guy weigh? If you go on Natures Variety's website, they have a feeding guide there . As for the poo, if he's detoxing it shouldn't last more than a day or 2. My guys didn't detox at all - but I was homecooking when they switched.
