| Funky Breath Buster has some funky smelling breath right now... almost like a fishy smell?? He is 6 months old and losing teeth left and right... could that be why his breath smells so bad???

| Absolutely the reason......dried blood, food getting caught between teeth......you'll have to weather through it until he's finished dropping his baby teeth and you have those that haven't dropped removed. Keep on brushing.

| Yes, it could definatly be from the baby teeth and I also learned something from my vet that I never knew. when I took Alice for a booster at 5 months I asked the vet about the same thing (her breath actually smelled almost like poop). He told me (and I appoligize for not knowing the technical terms here) the flap of skin in their throat that leads to their stomach and opens when they swallow doesn't stay closed well when their not swallowing until their approx. 7 months old so I was smelling her digestion (yuck). She's now 6 months old (still has 3 more baby teeth to shed - canines) and the bad breath is gone. So it could be that too, either way it's normal and will go away

| Yup, I remember how bad Pnuts was, ughh that smell is horrible isnt it! They have some breath mints at Petsmart and like breath spray. The spray smells pretty good, it might help you deal with the smell till they come out!!

| I use a baby tooth brush and sometimes the baby caps on the adult fall out..that really helps...they really are much of a tooth..not root, just like a cap. |
