I tried Pro Den Plaque Off a few years ago. After awhile, I think Sasha could tell there was something being put on her food and she started not wanting to eat. Eventually she would, but it's almost like she could tell there was something on her food that she didn't like and she just wasn't eating her food like she normally would. I continued to use it for a few months, but honestly I didn't really notice any difference. I do a lot more things now to try to keep her teeth clean and breath smelling nice so maybe now I would notice a difference? I really don't know. I use a few different types of dental treats, brushing every couple of days and also using the Petzlife gel. I'm thinking about trying a Himalayan chew to since she loves chewing on bones. |

I might just keep up with the Petzlife and start using it every day to get rid of the bit of tarter on his canine teeth. All his back teeth are PERFECT, it's just those front ones, and even that is just a tiny bit. So I have a feeling if I used Petzlife every single day with him, it could get rid of it. |

If it sounds too good to be true (no anesthesia), it probably is. Most vets do use anesthesia because they have no choice. They definitely would prefer not to. And if this was a place without a vet on staff (most of these clinics are), then they are practicing veterinary medicine without a license which is against the law. Not sure how come these places aren't being shut down. Not all discoloration is tartar and so some of it may not come off. Ellie does have a little bit of tartar, but the darker color on the top of her canines is more of an enamel issue. We have gone 3 years with no dental on a pup who had stage 4 (worst case) periodontal disease. :) |

I have been using petzlife jell for a couple of years now. I think it works well. I found the best price at petedge.com I buy 2 big 12 oz. bottles at a time. I pay 82.92 shipping included in this price. |
Just an update -- I went ahead and bought some of this. I've been sprinkling it on his food for about 2 weeks now. I just checked his teeth out and can definitely tell a difference! He had yellowing on his canine teeth (all four, actually) and I just checked and there is, like, nearly nothing there. I wish I would have taken a before picture. I have only brushed once in the past 2 weeks so I know it's gotta be this stuff. |
I have been very pleased with the Plaqueoff so far. Mine hate brushing as well so with this I don't have to as often. |

Yep, still using this. Mostly every day, sometimes I skip and forget, lol. But he is still not minding it on his food at all, and his teeth look great to me. I wish I would have taken a before picture but I'll try to get a current pic of his teeth. I'm really happy with this! We do use Petzlife as well but not as often... maybe once every 2 weeks. |

Still going good?? Reesie's teeth are NASTY!!!!!!! I mean NASTY!!!!! Viv |
Yup -- still doing good! :) I plan on getting him a dental anyways later this year just for precautious measures and he'll be 3 in October. He's still just got some staining on his canine teeth but other than that, his teeth are pretty white. Oh and I see a bit of plaque build-up on his bottom row of teeth on the backs of them (but very minimal). But I do think the PlaqueOff works really well... his breath never stinks. I stopped using it for about 4 weeks when we were dealing w/ his stomach problems just because I didn't know what I could use, etc, and I noticed his breath had a bit more of a smell to it... but now that we're back on our routine of Petzlife, brushing and Plaqueoff, no more smelly breath!!! :) The smell was VERY minimal tho, just if I had my face up in his, it was something I noticed! |
