				   | Just had a quick question about Pig Skin chews. Is there anything I need to watch out for when the dogs have these? We got some as a gift and are excited to have them. I let them chew on them while I was still holding onto one end because I don't know how digestible they are but i was wondering if next time they can just chew on them by themselves as long as i'm keeping an eye on them with it. They are pigellios or something like that. Cute and look good to me. Thanks, |

				   | I don't know a lot about pig skins except that they gave my babies terrible gas and gas pains. I only tried once so not sure if all of them are the same or not. |

				   | Yes they are a breeding ground for bacteria and can cause GI upset. If I owned your dogs with their histories I would not feed pig skins or any other greasy chew that might cause problems.

				   | I used to get pig ears sometimes, but I always thought they looked/felt so gross... and like slimy almost. They weren't dry like bully sticks. I heard they are high in fat too so I just stopped buying them. Jackson sure did love them but he would eat them too fast.

				   | Pig skins, bully sticks and such can really set these little one up for pancreatitis, severe gas, diarrhea and all. I wouldn't give those things to your baby.

				   | Fido gets pig ears sometimes (maybe 2-3 times a year, at christmas, at his birthday and on new years eve), he does not get gas, diarhea or anything, and he loves them !I have 2-3 pig skin chews, but Fido doesnt want them, they just lay on the floor, he likes raw hide more.
