| Help.. Inverted Nipple? I need some advice before I call the vet. I was holding Bri today and noticed her two top nipples looked a little inverted. (Not sure if that is the correct term) When I messed with them, a little white stuff came out. She doesn't seem to be in pain and is fine when I touch them. Has this happened to anyone?

| Im not sure about inverted but my best friend has a chi-weenie that after every heat cycle (even after we had her spayed) goes through a false pregnancy and has some milk one time she had so much milk she nursed a litter of kittens. her nipples dont seem inverted though they swell to twice the normal size

| What would milk look like? Is it like a white pus or more just watery? She had her first heat at the end of September. She wasn't around any male dogs, so I know she isn't pregnant. Thanks for the response.

| She needs to be seen by a vet. In humans an inverted nipple can mean cancer Im not sure if its the same for dogs but I would have it checked to be safe

If a nipple has always been inverted, that doesn't apply. The concern comes when it's a change from someone's norm.

| The vet said to keep a hot compress on it and see if anything happens. I have no clue if they were like this before. I honestly cannot remember. We're going back for a checkup Thursday.
