Hello!
I finally getting my yorkie! His name is Bentley and he is 12weeks old. I really need help on what kind of food to feed him at his age.

Any recipes or treat would help!

Dchatman congrats on your new puppy. I know how you feel about the food issue. I researched but still wanted the opinions of the veterans on this website. After researching, I found that Orijen is the best dog food on the market right now. I started my puppy on the Orijen puppy last night and hope he does well on it. There is a thread that gives contact info for some of the premium dog food makers. You can contact them to get samples.

Check out this link http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...e-samples.html . Hopefully this will help you along in your research. I also decided to try the Weruva canned dog food. I'm adding just a tablespoon to my puppies food because he likes a little moisture added to his kibbles.

Yayyyy how exciting!!! I see you're close to me...I'm in Warren

Acana is a FABULOUS food, I wouldn't recommend anything else. There are several stores in the Metro Detroit area. I am also hopefully getting a new pup the 1st or 2nd of the new year!! So excited!!
