get PetzLife Oral Care Spray. This is what i am using. Look for it on amazon |
Thank you everyone for the suggestions! I am so sorry I haven't responded- I've been away from my computer for a while. She DOES have tearing problems!!!! All the time- I've always assumed it's her allergies, because it's always clear. I will definitely have to look into that- so strange. How would the vet even determine if it's yeast? Just by an antibiotic? I am also going to look into the products you all suggested for her. She's mad at her mommy right now because she just got groomed and has a big ole christmas bow in her hair, for our family pictures tomorrow :) She looks adorable though!!! |
Oh and a quick update on her poop :) I've been giving her yogurt in the mornings with her kibble, which she L-O-V-E-S. Not a lot, but enough that I think it's already making a difference in digestion. |

You mean that she had been on an antibiotic, and got a yeast infection? If so, this is very common. Antibiotics kill all bacteria good and bad, there are some bacteria that are very good for us and keep the yeast fungus from overgrowing, but when we take an antibiotic, the yeast can grow rampant. Foods, like yogurt, have the good bacteria called probiotics and can restore the intestine back to a healthy environment. Glad she's doing better. Can't wait to see the Christmas pictures! |
We are using Tropiclean Fresh Breath Water Additive for a week now, and I noticed that Bear breath is much better. |
I have been using Oxyfresh Pet Gel and their Oral Hygiene solution. I love it and it really keeps her teeth looking great and she never has bad breath. Funny story, So I nanny for a family and they have a little 3 yr old girl. They also have a almost 3 yr old boarder collie. His teeth and breath are well, horrible. And it smells beyond discusting. The other day the little girl said to me, Taycie's breath smells sooo good, Eddy's breath stinks way bad!... of course I laughed. But I guess it goes to show, it must be working! |
