| Anyone know if this dogfood as been recalled? I have been away from here for some time thought I would come back and visit. Its been hectic with work. Question is has Solid Gold Wee Bits with Bison had any problems lately. Any recalls? If any one knows anything about this please let me know or if they have changed their formula.

| I guess I need to explain myself a little bit more. I am by no means downing this brand of dog food. My dogs love it. I have 3 yorkies and one got very sick on Thurs. then the other one Mon. and today the other one. They have been to the vet. They said it was a virus or possible something they ate. I have been feeding them this food for several months. Just last week I opened a new bag. I am trying to figure out what the culprit is. I may not have anything to do with this food but I am curious if anyone knew anything about it.

| I have no idea. Have you tried searching on here or google? I'm sorry about your sick babies and I hope someone that uses this food can answer your question.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Both my girls were sick two weeks ago - very loose stools, but no vomiting. Played, ate, and drank normal. Nothing changed in their diet, or life style. It lasted about 5 days (some days it seemed like it was getting back to normal - then back to loose). Took them both to the vet and he diagnosed them with Gastititus, gave them some meds to take and in two days all was normal. Hope your babies feel better soon - you feel so helpless when they're sick.

| Two of them had vomiting and runny stools. Had to meet the vet at the office on Sun. for the lil one. Only weighs 3 lbs. They did blood work everything was fine. Did any x ray. Everything good there. This is why they thinking virus or ate something.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I also took a stool sample in so they could check for parasites and found everything to be fine. The vet at that point said he would treat the symptoms and gave me Metronidazole and Pro-Pectalin - but they didn't show any other signs of illness. After the first day Greta was firm - and Bridget didn't go at all. Fed them bland diet of chicken and rice - Good luck

| That is odd. We have had something funny going on here with our furry bunch as well. First, Cooper had loose stools one day which turned to diarrhea for a day. She recovered and Maddie got loose stool once and vomit for a day. They are both fit as fiddles now and I was thinking it was like they had some sort of virus. Sorry to hear about your sick babies. We do not feed that food so I can't help you there. |
