| Roast beef? I made a really good roast for dinner tonight. Is it o.k. to give my crew a little bite or two of just the meat or is it too fatty? |

| We have roast beef every Sunday and two little Yorkies sitting by the table waiting for tidbits! They would disown us if they didn't get some. We only give them the lean part though.

| Yah, my girls are staring me down right now...I think they're trying to connect through mental telepathy! Well, not Moo...she's a little slow but Maddie is sure giving me a look! I'll give them each a couple bites of the lean meat...I'm sure they'll love it with their green beans and kibble. |

| We cook our roast beef on the rotisserie with no additions.

| Not to worry...I never use anything in with my roast unless it's a tiny touch of salt and pepper. I just put water in the crock pot and cook it all day long...it's sooooo tender and juicy...unbelievably good! |

| I would think that it would be a bad idea ... Too greasy and fatty to give . I would not take the chance . Give your babies a safe doggie treat instead.

| My Mentor has taught me that a Yorkies gut is their weakness. Do not change their feeding habits. Stick to dog food. |

| I don't think the feeding habits were being changed. Just giving a tidbit of roast beef as a treat.

| I'm not changing anything...I feed an excellent dog food (Fromm's Surf & Turf) but I have to make sure Megan eats so they each get a bowl of food at breakfast and supper with a little something mixed in...usually a little egg, yogurt or green beans. Moo would stand back and starve to death rather than go to the food bowl...she's been that way since she was a puppy...so I have to make sure she eats enough and I'll do whatever works for her. |
