| Food Hiya everyone! Poppy is 8 weeks old and she is eating soft food that i mash up for her a little in her feeding dish. I am wondering if it is time to start adding some puppy dry food into her wet food to keep her teeth clean. She has teeth and yesterday i bought her a LITTLE dog chew sasuage and i was amazed that she ate it ALL so today i bought her another. So i know she is able to chew and eat hard things. Do you think adding in some dry food with the wet food is a good idea? xxxx

| I would try it out. If she wants it she will eat it. Just choose a food with small yorkie sized kibble, wet it & monitor her eating for any signs of distress or discomfort. I think the first time I gave my youngest Scottie Kibble she was around 8-9 weeks & she was dipping into her moms food anyways. We wet it & she was ready to go. Goodluck!

| i wouldn't yet; as dry food is harder to digest than wet. if she's doing well on wet food leave her on it. there's nothing wrong with feeding wet food.
