| Does anyone... Does anyone feed their pup Royal canin yorkshire terrier puppy food? Is this a good food. I'm in the process of switching Kelsey over to it. Just wondering if it is good. Thanks |

| Kaji was sent to me with a mix of Royal Canin and something else. I wasn't impressed. It was way to greasy feeling. I would search for better quality food.

The top 6 ingredients are Chicken meal, Rice, Brown Rice, Chicken Fat, Chicken, and corn gluten meal. Not a big fan of having both rice and brown rice in the top 3. Also, usually I only look at the top 5, however, corn gluten meal in # 6 is not a quality ingredient in my eyes. It is basically a incomplete protein and used mainly as a carbohydrate for stabilizing the kibble. The crude protein is labeled at 28%. The problem with this, is that crude proteins are proteins that may or may not be digestible by our pups. So, long story short, you might be getting far less complete proteins than what is listed. I would definitely keep looking, check out the kibble ratings in the stickies at the top of this section for more info! | |
