| Lulu got hurt twice yesterday Yesterday was a rough day for my lil Lulu. First she got stepped on while we were getting ready to leave. She cried for a few mins & held up her paw. I was crazy scared, but my dh examined her, comforted her, and then put her down & she was fine. She seemed to favor that paw a little, but in a few mins she was 100% back to normal. Then, at my Dad's house that afternoon, she was playing with the kids (again, she was 100% back to normal at this time). She accidentally backed off of a step (not high at all...it's a step up to the pool from the deck). She must have landed funny b/c she cried & held up a different leg this time. Again, my dh held her, examined her & then placed her back down on the ground. She never did favor that leg at all & was 100 % back to normal within minutes. So of course, I'm flipped out about it. I feel guilty for allowing her to get hurt. I'm thinking the worst like she's got something wrong with her that causes her to hurt her legs easily. The vet checked for LP & said she was fine. I did not take her in to see the vet after these incidents b/c she returned to normal so quickly. My dh thinks perhaps she just bruised it... IDK? She is totally herself this morning again, running around playing like she usually does...no favoring her legs at all. I don't really know what I'm asking...I guess I'm just talking out loud to fellow YT'ers. Most people think I'm crazy to be so concerned about her. I'm just so glad that she's not showing any signs of injury...gotta be more careful & a better mommy. I feel like such a bad mommy.

| You are definitely not a bad mommy! The fact that you are so concerned and caring with your little one, proves that for sure. I too, hate it when Zhoie gets any type of hurts. They are so small and need us so much, we don't want anything to happen......but things do no matter how hard we try to watch everything. Just thank good lord, she is fine and give loads of extra kissies.

I had my own incident today. I sat down on the couch and popped a can of Diet Coke. The noise scared Sugar so badly that she tumbled off from the couch onto the tile! She is fine.....I,however, am still shaking!

| It's scary isn't it? It's hard to phathom how much you'll stress over the health of your baby until you have him/her home with you. Luckily, Lulu has been completely normal today & acted as if nothing had happened. But, boy was I scared & upset.

| I've been told thousands of times not to let Harley jump (he's still only 9 months), but some times we can't stop him, so we made this pillow like step for our couch so the little monster can fly around hopping on furniture all he wants. My heart nearly lept through my throat one day when he leaped off the couch, missed the pillow and started yelping and limping. I panicked call the breeder, was furious with my self, and 5 minutes later he jumped on my lap and started licking me and running around as normal. While it completely freaked me out, I've realized that he's a lot tougher than I give him credit for. I know they are super fragile, but Harley acts just like your typical little boy toddler, plays hard, falls hard, and gets up and just keeps going. I think as long as within a few minutes they are back to normal, they are completely fine. Being worried about them however is our job... we're fur moms, ofcourse we worry.
