| Nursing Mom with the runs I have a new mom and pups are 2 weeks. She's had loose stools to diarreha, tummy girgling and gas on and off for 2 weeks. We have had some solid stools. I thought it was from diapering the pups. I've tried pumpkin (hates it), white rice mixed in food (that she'll do), banana (no like won't touch) even 1 dose of Pepto (it worked, but then I was afraid of her nursing). I'm feeding her Wellness Core wet and dry and have been throughout pregnancy (the last 3 weeks of preg she would only eat home cookin with a lil Core wet). Added Petab Calcuim 10 days ago 1 tab and Petabs suppliment throughout pregnancy. Any suggestions? Oh and she has been eating pretty large meals 3-4x per pad. Oh 3 pups. | Mom with The Runs Watch the calcium tablets. You might want to cut back a little bit because they will cause loose stools. Pepto wont hurt the babies either if that works for Mom. Jars of chicken baby food with Rice Chex Cereal crushed in it usually will keep down the runs if you use it for a few meals and then slowly go back to her regular diet.
