| Grain Free Treats? I was just wondering if anyone knew of any natural grain free treats that I can feed my yorkie? He doesn't get many treats but I do need to find some that are grain free. |

| Have you tried Wellness Pure Rewards? They are grain-free (we usually get the chicken and lamb), kind of like a meat jerky. My dog goes crazy for these - his absolute favorite!

| This would be my suggestion also. These are what I feed my crew. They also like yogurt bites which are little "kisses" like candy made from yogurt. Barkley LOOOOVES them.

| I'll have to try those. Before I knew that Max had a grain allergy, I bought a bag of "Yorkie Yummies" from a Yorkie Talk poster. They have been wonderful but they have oats, rice, and barley in them. Max LOVES them! They are small (3 of them fit on a quarter) and just the right size to feed 2 or 3 and not be over doing it. I wish I could find some made just like these without the grains. |

| Agree on Wellness! and they also have these "Pure Rewards" things (I think they're called, or maybe Pure Bites?) and they're literally just one ingredient. There's some that are freeze died liver treats, etc, and Jackson loves these.

| The Wellness treats I mentioned are a bit bigger, but smaller than the average biscuit-type treat. They are soft, so you could easily cut them into fourths or so, and I think that would be the size you are looking for. I usually just tear mine in half if Levi doesn't try to snatch it out of my hand first

| Not a "meat" based treat but my guys love Sam's Yams and Bichon Fries...Dried Sweet Potato treats. I love this brand because they are all natural. They have a site on Amazon (free shipping) if you can not find them at your healthy pet food stores.

| Also, if you want something crunchy for a treat, Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance has tiny bone shaped biscuits that are grain free and they come in a few flavors (they match the kibble flavors, duck and potato, venison and sweet potato, and a fish one)

| I own a dehydrator and have used it over the years to dry lots of stuff for both humans and dogs. My yorkie loves yams and my JRT loves apples. Sometimes you can make your own healthy treats as well. |
