| Taste of the wild Hi I just picked up a small bag of Taste of the wild Bison and venison flavor. I was just wondering if anyone of you here on YT happen to give your babies any of the taste of the wild foods, and if so what do you think of it, it seems like it will be a good food, and all of my babies like it. I bought this because I am trying to find another food for them. I had them on a high quality food. for a long time, but they seem to be getting board with it, and we still have some tear staining issues. Also since we have adult dogs and a puppy, I was having to buy two separate formula's , and with this taste of the wild I was told that they can all eat the same food, because it it for all ages.. and I really like the idea of not having to buy separate food anymore.

| We use TOTW and really like it. I will rotate flavors for my girls occasionally, but their favorite is the Bison flavor too. The only problem I had with it was it once used fish meal preserved with ethoxyquin. Now, their fish oil is preserved with natural ingredients. |

| I use it with my 3 and have been very happy with it. : ) Has worked better than any of the other high quality foods we have tried.

| My Westie used to like it . . but it did give him stinky poop (sorry). It's too high protein for Lucy. Once Ringo got tired of it - we switched to Blue Buffalo Wilderness for him and he loves it! |

| My gang including our elderly Boxer has been on TOTW for well over a year now and we are all well pleased. We have used all varieties, but my guys seem to prefer the Wetlands formula with Roasted Fowl. |

| My situation is probably different because Lucy has mild MVD or liver issues. So, she needs a much lower protein percentage. The protein percentage is listed on the bag; she needs under 20% . . but again, she is a somewhat unusual situation. I am sure that TOTW is fine for a healthy dog; my Westie was on it for a long time with no problems. He just eventually tired of it and we switched. And now, it doesn't have that preservative that everyone is concerned about . . so it's an even better food. I would not hesitate to rotate Ringo back on it when he tires of Blue Buffalo. No worries! |
