| So frustrated he doesn't want to eat I wish I knew what to do with Tucker it is soooo frustrating that he doesn't want to eat. I don't know if he is sick or just being picky, I have tried so many different foods and he just smells it and walks away. He was eating raw for awhile and I thought I finally found something that he liked but now he won't even eat that. My other two will pretty much eat whatever I put in front of them but not him. I don't know if I should go get him checked out again or just wait. He isn't vomiting or diarhea or anything right now so it is really confusing. HELP!!!!!!! |

| How old is he and how long have you had him? How long has he gone without eating?

| He is 13 months old and we have had him since he was 12 weeks old. He has always been kind of picky but the last day or two seems to be getting worse. He did eat some last night but usually when I would try to offer him somethings he would take it but not today. We did just get back from our walk in which he really wanted to go but it seems like he was panting quite a bit but now seems to have calmed down and he is chewing on his bully stick. I just wished that he was easier to feed and I always worry that there is something more wrong because my last dog did about the same thing and we discovered that he had a failing liver and we had to put him down at 6 yrs old so I am always paranoyed whenever something strange is going on. |

| If he is barely eating at all, I think that is more than being a picky eater. Have you tried feeding him chicken/rice or I used to make scrambled eggs and add a bit to the kibble to get my dog eating. I had a dog who I thought was being picky, but ended up being very ill. Have you noticed any weight loss? You really might want to consider a trip to the vet just to be on the safe side.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Have you had your vet check him recently. If he is healthy and just picky maybe you can try getting samples of various foods to see if any of them work. I know Cesars wet usually works for picky eaters but it is not a good food long term. I hope you can find something he likes.
