| poop so this is kind of embarassing... but i have to ask... I've noticed (only a couple of times) that Bailey will carry her poop from one room to another. Is this normal or is she kinda weird... Is there anything i can do to stop her (besides the obvious of picking it up right away...)? Sometimes i can't get to it right away... any help/advice? |

this is VERY normal.... this happens to alot of dogs... My Bailey loves Cat poop and Deer poop. There is product you can buy at petstore to make her poop taste bad and she won't eat it. You can buy them in a pill formula.. Not sure what they are called but I am sure someone will... goodluck!!

| I'm sorry I can't help, because this hasn't happened to me. I pick up Twinkies poo as soon as she's finished, but like you said you can't get to it right away all the time. I wish you luck though... |

| I posted a short while ago about my furbaby, Mr. Darcy, visiting at my son's where there are 2 cats, and his job seemed to be to take a piece of cat poop from the litter box and take it to the door and drop it there - he never actually ate it though. I still don't really know why they find poop so appetizing!!!!

| To make the poop taste bad, a vet told me to shake a little meat tenderizer on their morsels. It makes the poop taste bad (what's wrong with that saying!). I used to have that problem and the meat tenderizer worked! And it's cheap. You might want to try that.

| I have this same problem with Boomer. Bailey doesn't do it. If I use the tenderizer he won't eat his food. I bought the pills and they worked well.

| I also heard that feeding them pineapple makes the poo taste bad. But please consider that the reason dogs eat poo *may* be from having a nutrient deficiency. Some things that work, is to make sure they eat slowly (food can digest better), or feed a higher quality food. As for eating cat poo, for some reason, some dogs just think cat poo is delicious. The very dangerous thing about that is if they eat the poo (with the clumping litter that sticks to it) they can get very sick. Best to keep the cat box out of the reach of the dogs.

Oh, you shouldn't be embarrassed... apparently, you missed the in depth poop conversation that took place a couple of weeks ago... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...servation.html We aren't afraid to talk about poop around here. LOL.

| My furbutts are extremely gross there's been times when one is going and the other one is eating it! like I said extremely gross. We put a stop to it when we see it, we've tried pineapple --didn't work lol. But since we switched their diet it seems to have helped at least a little. knock on wood!! |
