feeding Actually, since we got her from 8 weeks, we have always left her dish down. I don't have a problem with that because she is not overweight. We don't give her anything from the table, but I know she would love to be right there. Kathy:) |
I leave Jackson's Nature's Variety Instinct kibble out all day. According to their chart, he should eat approx. 1 cup per day, so I always pour 1 cup into his bowl. Sometimes he will nibble on the morning, but he usually waits 'til around noon to eat some dry food... then between 5-6pm, I mix some wet food with the dry food for his dinner. He doesn't typically finish 1 full cup in a day. He's not a huge eater. Well, it depends on how active he was that day as well. |
what time do you feed Mine eat breakfast at 7:00am and treats during the day. Nite time 5:00 or so they eat there kibbles, and I cook lean meat, then treats at nite before bed time. they are not overweight at all. Very active go for walks in the evening.. Love Cheryl |
Bella It is so nice to know other people that own Yorkies. I have a problem with training. I have two trays, reason been, she will only pee and one, then has to go to the other for poo. Has anyone heared this one before, it just makes for a lot of work, that I don't mind, but I have had dogs all my life, big ones. When I retired, I decided I wanted a little one, and have never seen this behavior before???? Thanks Kathy |
