| Blood in loose stools? My little 10 1/2 wk. yorkie started with loose stools this am. and I noticed a little blood in them. She has kept the loose stools all day and I just noticed the blood . I am a little concerned. She did this a week ago when I first got her after I took her to the vet and he stuck that thing in her bottom when thay checked for worms. I also noticed a little blood then but my other yorkie did that after they used to check him for worms too.But I figured it was her being stressed and the worm checing thing. What could this be just irritable bowel from the diarrhea? Her stool have been nice and firm until now. I wonder if she found something on the floor to get into I try to keep it swept and vacuumed but with 3 kids ya never know. |

| the blood is probably because his intestines are upset by something- i agree- would take a stool sample in just because he is so young. |
