| My Yorkie Babies eyes worry me... We recently got a Yorkie pup three weeks ago. She is now super spoiled and we love her to bits! Never having a Yorkie or even a small dog before (although we have had many big dogs) I worry about her more. Ever since we got her, her eyes have had alot of discharge and i'm having to daily try and brush/wash the matted discharge from around her eyes. Should i be concerned or is this normal? Will she grow out of it or will i forever be holding her down and hating having to hold her down and pray i dont hurt her? Please help!!! |

| Did the vet clear her on her first visit?

| Yes, the vet said to make sure her hair was trimmed and out of her eyes and didn't say anything else about it. |

| Yorkies are high maintence, she is probably teething right now. When she's done teething she will either stop or it won't be as bad. Try a facial scrub (I use Spa) on her daily to give her a kissable clean face.

| I don't know what to tell you. I still have to hold Buster down to clean his eyes. He gets eye boogers really bad. I've tried distilled water, apple cidar vinegar. Nothing has worked yet. He hasn't gotten used to it but it's something we do almost every day.

| I usually wipe Sugar's eye every morning and night, doesn't matter if she has eye boogers, it's just to make sure her hair around eye area is clean. I notice if she didn't drink enough water, she will have more eye boogers
