| questions about after spaying recuperation process I still have to spay Sasha but I don't want to leave her by herself during recuparation time. I'm trying to figure out how many days from work to take off in order to take care of her. How long does it take for them to be kind of "normal" again. Thank you.

Can you go home to check on her at all during the day or can you have someone go and check in on her? Is there anyway that you can keep her in a bathroom or maybe your kitchen while you are at work? Chances are, she will sleep for the first couple of days. Good luck .

| Thanks for posting this question. Bijou is getting her's done on a Wednesday so I figured I'd take a four day weekend to be with her and was wondering if this would be enough time. I just love this site!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | she should be pretty good within 2 days, I know ladies that work seem to schedule their girls spay on thursdays, since the pup most of the time spends 24 hours at the clinic, picked the pup up friday and then by sunday they are a lot better. my son works in a vet clinic and he said that is why they have surgeries on thursdays... hugs, Carmen in nj |

| Just in 1-2 days But I think it's best to get her spayed on Thursday/Friday, so on Sat and Sun you will have more time to supervise her. Stitches would be removed around 10 days later? Then it would be another Sunday

| Roxie is supposed to be spayed next Wednesday. I can't take off, so I am totally nervous about leaving her alone when I go to work on Thursday and Friday. I am going to have my boyfriend come over and stay with her when he gets out of work, but she will be here alone for a few hours in the morning. I don't know if I should leave her in her cage or gated in the kitchen. I'm hoping she'll just sleep a lot.
