| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | A little could be okay. I've been really lucky - my boys have really not had gas. If bad gas is an issue...before "pills", I'd suggest first looking at food - bc just like in humans, gas is usually caused by something that is irritating to the system - so a food change might do the trick . Did the gas start w/ a new food or treat change or anything - or just out of nowhere?Do you want to post what you're feeding and then want help w/ food suggestions?

| I have a friend with a greyhound who gives his dog 1-2 pills of Gas-X. Gas-X is also good for bloat. My vet recommends for everyone to have it in their doggy first aid kid. I am not sure of the exact dosage for a Yorkie, so you would have to look that one up.

| In general, if a dog needs pills for gas, there is probably an underlying problem. A foodchange should be tried before medicating IMO.
