| Yorkie Teeth So my Yorkie is just a year old. I have two problems with his teeth. The first one is he has two bottom teeth that are loose (lined next to each other) that are taking forever to fall out. It is bleeding all the time causing it to be smelly. I have tried many toys to wiggle it out..Anyone have any ideas...Oh and the other thing is that my little guy has both top fang teeth adult and baby..They are lined up perfectly..Do i need to take them out? Thanks.. |

| I agree. You need to have them removed pretty soon. Yorkies are known for having dental problems, and having both sets of teeth will just lead to tartar build up and decay, as well as bite/alignment problems.

| If they are bleeding, I'd get him now......you are also looking at possible infection.

| Thanks for all of your help. Mr. Buttons had his teeth out yesterday. Four of them and one was a little bit infected. Smell is gone, they cleaned his teeth too! All is well! |

| I'm so glad you got to the vet as quickly as you did. Mr. Buttons (love the name) must be feeling so much better. Happy New Year Mr. Buttons!
