The Himalayians are great, we have a lot of customers who pull up to our store, come in, grab a few packages of the chews and leave. The Free Range ones are so hard to keep in stock, people buy 100's of the 4 packs at a time, maybe we have them priced to low. Some of my customers with yorkies, tell me their yorkies takes the himalayian chews, jump up on a chair and then drops it. Trying to break the chew in half (They will break if they do drop a lot). Once broken the dogs then enjoys it. I also heard customers that told me about the color thing, I had one customer that told me, her cats will only play with the white toy mices. |
We've ordered some of the regular bullies & some twisted ones from AMD but haven't gotten back to Florida yet to get them. Not to threadcap...I'm too nervous to try the Himilayans since I saw they contain salt. From what I understand salt can be very bad for our little ones. Maybe someone else who's been a Yorkie parent awhile could comment on that too? Sherry |

Thanks Bon, To address the concern about the sale in the Himalayan Dog Chews, they did publish a FAQ, in which you can view here.. Himalayan Dog Chew - 100% Natural. Authentic. No Preservatives. An Everest Sized Treat Isn't salt/sodium supposed to be bad for dogs? The amount of salt included in the creation of these chews is negligible. It is included by the people as a flavor enhancer, not for the flavor itself. |
Thanks for linking the FAQ about the Himilayan chews! Sherry |
What do you use to cut bullys? Chainsaw:p? I would like to try because the bigger ones seem to be a better value. |
It really depends on the thickness of the bullies, the Free Range ones you can cut with large yard trimming shears. Bravo sticks, you'll need something along the lines of a chop saw. |
