| Brushing Yorkie's Teeth, me or the vet? do you brush your yorkie's teeth or do take him to vet for this? if you do it yourself, how often? which is the better? thanks, pacosmom |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I brush Pixie and Roxie's every couple of days with a finger brush and kindness dog toothpaste. Cali won't let me.

| I would say do it yourself! I brush Peanut's teeth, he doesnt love it but he deals with it bc he knows he doesnt have a choice haha! They have some good toothbrush's at Petsmart and toothpaste... also you can get Petzlife there! Thats an oral spray for the mouth, helps with tarter... I just got some of that Peanut really doesnt like that... but I really want to keep up on his dental health!! Tips on brushing Get your baby use to you putting your finger in his mouth Get him use to the "finger tip" or "toothbrush" by showing him and putting it near his mouth, then in Let him taste the toothpaste Then start brushing..he might put up a fight but just keep doing it he will get use to it. I have to have DH help me, I can not to do myself. So DH holds and I go in!!

| i brush her teeth everyday with CET toothpaste (vanilla/mint flavor) using a CET small toothbrush; then i use bluto's yummy gum solution; my dog doesnt like the process but she's used to it by now; i started when she was a puppy
