my female yorkies hair is falling out in clumbs i have a 1 yr old female yorkie that came out of heat 2 months ago and about 2 weeks a go i started to notice that her hair is falling out in clumps was wondering if anyone knows anything about this |
Sorry, I don't know anything about it. I would call the vet! Best of luck! |
You really do need to see the vet on this...it could be a number of things. |
I have heard of this happening but I agree that you should have her checked out by a vet. She could have a thyroid problem or any number of issues really. Good luck and let us know how you make out! |
ok thanks so much :) |
i adopted timmy, my new yorkie from the shelter about a month ago. He is supposedly 3 yrs old or so and still has a brown and tan coat. He looks a bit puppyish. I have noticed he is losing tiny clumps of hair around the house. When i brush him, hair does come out. Could this be b/c i changed his food recently? He has a throw up prob that is not solved yet (vet this friday for barium study) so i switched him from Eukanuba, which is what my pom is on, to Purina for sensitive systems that has salmon in it...this made him throw up WAY MORE. So i switched him back over to Eukanuba. His stomach is doing a lot better, but im still noticing the tuffs of hair. Could this just be because of the food switces? |
