| How often should you give chew treats Ok i have a question... How often should you give your babies a bully stick or well mine just love snozzles/pig snouts and texas toothpicks. I was concerned about the protein and fat ... things like that and I just wanted to know what everyone else does. I gave them a snozzle last night and between the three they had it ate by morning.... lol they just love them. And for some reason they all want the same one... you can't just give all three of them one. They seem to love the competition of stealing it from each other. But anyway back to my original reason for posting if any one could recommend a good time frame between chew treats that would be great!! Just want the best for my babies (im a worry wart lol)

| we have been giving ours their bully sticks after dinner. They usually gnaw on them until they fall asleep or if mommy leaves the room, they would much rather be into what I am doing than chewing. We also found out that since we've been restricting them to that time frame of chewing, they've been eating a little better!

| I give treats and chew treats like bully sticks occasionally. It's hard because my one dog will eat her's so fast and then try to steal Lola's. They get them a few times a week give or take. I look at it this way these are treats and treats are occasional. My daughter doesn't get candy and chocolate bars everyday so neither will they. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Lexi gets bored after about 30mins of chewing on hers.. so we just take the old ones a put them in the bag full of new ones and when we get her another she thinks shes getting a new one . eventually, shell get one down to a little nub and play with it, but she knows if I see it I'll take it away because I dont want her to choke on it . shed rather play with her puppet puppy toy or her sqweaky piggy... she even knows them by name!

| The safest and best chews are the 1" cut beef femur bones. They can't eat them but they sure do love to chew on them.

| Thanks everyone for responding. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt over doing it. Oh and I dont think I have ever came across a beef femur bone yet... I will look for those. I think ill limit them just a little bit especially on the snouts... I dont think Im as worried about the bullies as i am the snouts.
